Today's special something was spending the day with my kiddo -- a day that ended with us taking the train and walking (a lot!) to Chelsea Piers to watch the Macy's Fireworks display. All of my years living across the River in Jersey City and I've never gone to NYC to watch the fireworks. So, this was a treat for both of us.
